During the 2-day tour we will visit the Lithuanian port city  Klaipėda. We will walk around its Old Town, which has its own unique architecture. The charm of the streets is reinforced by the sculptures popping out in its most unexpected places. In the castle museums we will get acquainted with the history of the castle and the town located next to it. In the Blacksmith’s museum we will see the works of blacksmiths art in this region. We will visit the only Clock Museum in Eastern Europe. In the Botanical Garden of Klaipeda University we will learn the secrets of herbs and taste their flavours. We will visit the World War II bunker on the Baltic coast  “Memel Nord”. We will take part in an educational tour of amber fishing and try to catch amber ourselves. We will visit a cliff called Holland’s hat. In Palanga resort we will visit the Tiškevičiai Palace, where the Lithuanian Amber Museum is established, we will walk on the most famous street of this city and visit its symbol – Palanga Pier.

2-day tour to the Lithuanian seaside. During this trip we will visit Klaipeda – the ice-free Lithuanian port. We will take a walk through the streets of the Old Town, which will impress you with its own coziness. Each is unique, adorned with the architecture of the port city, among which you can even see the fachwerk atchitecture typical of German cities. The streets of the Old Town are also decorated with extraordinary sculptures: a “Magic Mouse” fulfilling desires, a “Cat in the Face of a Gentleman” with extraordinary powers, a chimneysweeper and the button of his success, a pot of money promising wealth. We will see the symbol of this city – the sailing ship “Meridian”.

At the Klaipėda castle site we will be greeted by one of the most impressive sculptures in the world the “Ghost”. We will see the only engineering heritage of more than a hundred years on the Baltic coast – a drawbridge and find out how many times a day it is swiveled so far. In the museums located in the basement of the castle, we will learn the history of the castle that stood here and the town located next to it.

In the Blacksmith’s museum we will get acquainted with the art of blacksmithing typical of this region and see what works are born in the hands of blacksmiths. In the museum we will also see the tools and bellows used by blacksmiths, we will learn about their work and we will be able to beat blacksmiths ourselves and make Curonian jewelry for ourselves. At the only Clock Museum in Eastern Europe, we will try to answer the question of what time is. We will learn how different civilizations counted it and travel through different epochs of art.

In the Botanical Garden of Klaipeda University, located in the picturesque Dane River Valley, in the territory of the former manor park, we will see objects reminiscent of Prussian history: cemeteries, oaks, defensive ramparts. Due to the ecological conditions of the area, interesting, species-rich plant communities have formed here. Over 250 plant species grow naturally throughout the Botanical Garden. During the educational session “Tastes from the Garden” we will get acquainted with the spices grown in the collection of this garden, learn to compose and combine them, learn their properties and taste their flavors.

The next day we will go to the north coast, where we will see the defensive fortifications of the Second World War by the Baltic Sea – the bunker “Memel Nord”. This is not just a bunker. Here we will get acquainted with the history of this region in a new and versatile way. We will move back 70 years – to the the beginning of 20th century, we will be in a passage of time that we will be able to assess quite differently than we have done so far.

Amber is the Lithuanian gold. It is thrown to the sandy coast by the waves of the Baltic Sea. You can collect amber and catch it. We will try to catch you. During the “Secrets of Amber Catching” tour we will learn about the origin of amber and its properties, you will get acquainted with the original amber collection. You will be exposed to the peculiarities of amber capture and collection. The bravest will be able to test their strength in the waves of the sea.

Admiring the Baltic panorama from the Holland’s hat cliff, we will travel to the Lithuanian resort of Palanga. Here we will visit the magnificent palace of Count Tiškevičius, located in the very center of Birutė Park, where the Lithuanian Amber Museum has been established. The museum, which has one of the largest collections of amber inclusions and uniqueness in the world, has a total of over 30,000. exhibits. Here we will also see one of the largest amber piece in Lithuania – “The stone of sun”, which weighs 3 kg 524 g. This amber has its own different history – it was stolen and returned to the museum by the thieves themselves.

In the very center of the resort we will admire its magnificent church, see the resort’s most famous building – the Kurhaus, walk on the famous Jonas Basanavičiaus Street, making 900 steps to the Baltic Sea, the symbol of this city – the Palanga pier.
