10:00 – the first visit to the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul (now a concert hall Ave Sol).
In this vhurch Anna Kern, wife of the commandant of the Riga Ermolai Kern, prayed for the health of Alexander Pushkin, who were wounded in a duel with Dantes. Near the church is so called “the house of the commandant Kern”, the husband of Anna Petrovna.
11:00 – Temple of the Saviour (Vienibas Avenue).
The main shrine of the temple of the Holy Face of Our Saviour – a list of the Tikhvin Icon of the Blessed Virgin. Thanks to this image Saviour Temple today is inextricably linked to the Children’s Hospital. Many doctors and nurses themselves are sending to pray before this image the parents of young patients.
